I grew up in Utah at the base of Provo Canyon. My fondest memories almost always include the cool mountain breeze and the people I love most. I thrive off my time on the trails because it gives me the opportunity to push my mind and body past perceived limits, while overcoming mental blocks and obstacles; that’s what I love, overcoming hurdles and teaching kids how they can too!
My name is Jabon Eagar and I live in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona. I am a father and husband that shares my love for the outdoors with as many as will follow me. As an Adventurer, wilderness explorer, published photographer, author, modern homesteader, and DIY ’r, there are no shortages of things to do. My images can be seen in museums around Arizona as well as state and national park media.
Bumper stickers are interesting because they offer us insight into the lives of the people that put them there. They show us what someone identifies with. My “bumber stickers” in life are family, religion, mountain biking, golf and my work. These are things that make me, me; and these are things that have made me, me.
My exposure to mountain biking came at a very young age, growing up my father was an avid mountain biker and participated in a variety of adventure races. I remember when I was 10 or 11 years old my parents bought me my first real mountain bike and I rode that bike everywhere. I used to ride it to my friend’s house, soccer practice, the park or wherever it was.
